Mini Biography Soundaryas career spanned over 12 years and acted in all the 4 southern languages. She had also produced an award-winning film, Dweepa. While Soundarya was doing her first year MBBS course, one of her fathers friends roped her in for his Kannada film, Gandharva (1992). She made her Tamil debut with the film Ponnumani, opposite Karthik. Soundarya had acted in over 90 films and reaped a rich harvest of awards. In a fatal aircraft accident Soundarya lost her life on the outskirts of Bangalore on 17th April 2004. |
