Legendary outlaws Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman) and the Sundance Kid (Robert Redford) display perfect comedic timing and charisma as they pull off heist after heist in this Oscar-winning film from director George Roy Hill. To evade a relentless posse, the boys flee to Bolivia, thinking they'll find easier pickings there. But trouble finds the fugitives wherever they go, and soon, the charming desperadoes are on the run again.

This is one classic movie one should not miss at all.
Wonder why no Indian movie was inspired by awesome action movie.
Paul Newman and Robert Redford share a lot of tongue in cheek remarks.

If you've only seen the Clint Eastwood kind westerns, be prepared for a change. Yes, there are cowboys, outlaws, guns and bang bang. But with an awesome garnish of rib-tickling comedy. Based loosely on the true story of Robert LeRoy Parker (Butch Cassidy) and Harry Longabaugh (Sundance Kid), this movie is a charming story of how the two try to evade arrest by lawmen and escape to Bolivia. Look out for the scene, when they are cornered by the posse and have no escape except suicidal fighting:
Butch Cassidy: Kid, there's something I ought to tell you. I never shot anybody before.
Sundance Kid: One hell of a time to tell me.
Another scene is the Union Railroad train robbery. Watch it, and you'll know how even robbing can be a pleasure! Paul Newman and Robert Redford are a delight to watch, and as the movie progresses, you come to love the outlaws! A must watch for all the western fans. For the rest, a good initiation into the genre! 4 out five for me.
