| | | A well attempted film that tries to comprehensively cover Indian mythology! A herculean task no doubt. Dashavatar highlights the ten different avatars of Lord Vishnu. It also takes us through parts of the Ramayana, Mahabharat, Krishna Leela and a lot more. All of this is squeezed into two hours! The transformation from one episode to the other is a little difficult to follow, but a lot of the simple tales are enjoyable to watch and take you back to your childhood when your grandmother told you these stories! A good film to watch with your kids. |

| | | Well made film! For people like me who grew up watching Ramayan and Mahabharat (on national TV), one concern is that will our children ever get to know about these fascinating tales of bravery and following the right direction? Dashavatar, succeeds in doing that but a more comprehensive but short film about these tales would be a great help. There have been a lot of attempts but they haven't been able to match the quality and the storyline... Common Indian Animation Industry - live upto our expectations! |
