It's like a shot of tequila, first thing in the morning! Like a head rush that just won't fade! A falling dream from which you can't wake up! Dev D stirs you up and shakes you until your bones rattle. In one sentence; it's a brilliant film! It doesn't just break the mould; it shatters the mould and uses the pieces to create a wonderfully eclectic, psychedelic mosaic that enthralls the audience! With absolutely no traces of convention, Dev D steers clear of stereotypes. It's a movie for those with an open mind, and those who want to experience, rather than watch a film. Abhay Deol has excelled as the debauching, self-destructive sensualist Dev D. The role seems to have been tailor made for him. Both Mahi and Kalki show promise, but are unlikely to strike gold in Bollywood. Dev D, according to me, is Anurag Kashyap's best work thus far. It's a film that crosses all film making boundaries and forces you to expand the ones in your mind. A must watch for those with a taste for offbeat films.

A Liitle Dissapointed After Watching the reviews.I think giving it all 5 stars is a bit overrating and that increased my expectations.
A Very Goood Movie never the less.

dev d is an experiance , a film which makes u think and lets u be u, each character is so well into the grove.the fathers, friends, family, the hero , heroines ,the characters have been excellently crafted into thier roles by the director..also a word on the music , i feel its one of the best soundtracks i have heard..u have every kind of music and brings the movie to a new level...cheers to the team of dev d to attempt and do wonders with a new concept
