A simple villager (Jeeva) goes to Chennai in search of a job. The lights and sounds of the city do little to influence him, and he remains gullible and a simpleton as he was earlier. A chance encounter with some goons changes his life, as he becomes witness to a gruesome murder. For some reason he doesn’t report the incident to the police, nor does he get any sleep. But his woes don’t end there. The goons are out to get him.
