Mahesh Bhat’s thriller Jurm is a rather interesting story. Police Inspector Shekhar Verma (Vinod Khanna), wife Meena (Meenakshi Seshadri), and Guddu are a happy family... Until Editor Ritesh Nandy is killed and Shekhar meets the witness, the attractive Geeta (Sangita Bijlani. While she is unable to identify the assailants, she receives life threatening calls. Shekhar, in love with her, and Inspector Kadam (Shafi Inamdar) take it on themselves to protect her. Shekhar realizes that the murder is closely linked to top ranking police officials, and that even his life and his family are under threat.
