If Mallika Sherawat sizzled in Maiya Maiya, and Aishwarya Bachchan released a downpour of unbridled joy with Barso Re, Abhishek Bachchan not only raised the bar with his acting chops but expressed tenderness in Tere Bina- a soulful ode beautifully nuanced by the efforts of sir Rehman.
This is also the first collaboration of Bappi Lahiri and Rehman, with, Ek Lo Ek Muft. You decide which one comes free-flowing!
Harihan startled with his mellifluous Ai Hairathe and Chitra kept us alive with Jaage Hain.
If you have already seen Guru by now, which I am guessing gives me little reason to recommend, discover it all over again.
Fine tune as to what makes it a Rehman award winner. I will go to the extent of saying that rent it not to watch Guru as much as to enjoy its musical bouquet as you savor it this time around. |
