Babel is a closely interwoven story of four families in 4 different countries.What makes this movie special is that it is shot in the local language of the country where the characters of the movie
reside.the performances of the characters are very powerful and we are able to realise how closely connected we are even though living in different part of the world.

I would give this movie 4 out of 5.But one problem which I faced with the DVD was that there were no english sub titles for the parts of the movie shot in other langauages.So that makes life little bit difficult.

A refreshing story, intelligently told. Respect for cultures has been carefully handled. It's four stories woven together beautifully. A married couple Richard (Brad Pitt) and Susan (Cate Blanchett) who travel to Morocco to 'get away'. Two Arabic brothers with a gun. A Japanese deaf girl called Chieko. And Richard and Susan's nanny called Amelia (Adriana Barraza). There is a lot happening in Babel..it's fast paced, exciting and gripping! An absolute must watch!
