Synopsis Marie, a student at the Opera Ballet School, falls in love with Henrik on a boat trip. But their idyllic summer vacation comes to a sudden end when Henrik dies from injuries suffered in a diving accident. Marie drifts into an affair with her old uncle, Erland.
