The much publicised Last Lear is an engrossing movie no doubt. But it is for the niche audience, who enjoy and understand Shakespeare. While the movie maybe loved by those with a keen interest in Theatre, it is lost on most others. It comes as no surprise that The Last Lear has received accolades in film festivals, but it fails to connect with the 'Junta'. If at all the movie is doing relatively well, its all thanks to Big B. He carries the movie forward and doesnt let us down until the end. This is one of Priety Zinta's most intense performances. Arjun Rampal is on a roll after Rock On, he perfectly suits the character of a young, energetic film maker.

Overall, The Last Lear is worth watching when you are in the mood for some off beat-ish cinema and not just entertainment. In the end, it does not cater to the average Indian cinema goer.
