One of the hot and happening actors in Mumbai, the television star- turned Bollywood’s generation next hero Rajeev Khandelwal was shooting recentlyon the sandy beaches of Kottivakkam in Chennai.

Critics and Bollywood observers say that the boy from small town Jaipur who was television’s wonder boy through serials like Kahin to Hoga, Haqeeqat, Left Right Left became an actor with fantastic screen presence in the sleeper hit thriller of 2008 Aamir.

Rajeev played the lead role of Aamir, a Muslim doctor returning to Mumbai who finds himself in a difficult situation as he comes out of the airport and a stranger slips a mobile phone and a voice at the other end threatens to kill his family if he does not follow his orders. It was a riveting film that, thanks to Rajeev’s superb performance, became a multiplex hit.

Rajeev, who has bid adieu to television and moved on to the big screen, is one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood...........
