While the film was being shot in Miami last month, everyone from KJo to the leading men, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan, were being driven to and fro to locations by female chaffeurs.
Says a source from the unit, “It is not uncommon to have women drivers abroad. There no one calls them drivers or chauffeurs. They are PAs or production assistants. There’s no gender bias in the west.
During Kal Ho Naa Ho even Karan had one in New York. Both John and Abhishek had stunners for chauffeurs they were striking women. They looked more like models and less like chauffeurs and mixed comfortably with everyone on the sets including John and Abhishek.”

The actress, who earlier featured in a popular campaign to create awareness about HIV- AIDS few years ago, has now been appointed by South Asian trade bloc SAARC as its Goodwill Ambassador for the HIV and AIDS programme for its member countries.Shabana Azmi along with Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya were finally selected by the SAARC member nations (namely Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Pakistan, Maldives, Sri Lanka and India) from a large number of nominations received to be the Goodwill Ambassador for this noble cause. Apparently, the actress' name was recommended by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO). Shabana's role as a Goodwill Ambassador would involve facilitating the implementation of SAARC regional strategy on HIV and AIDS. She would also take up the issue of creating awareness about the deadly disease. The official conferment of the title and the launch of the program for SAARC goodwill ambassadors is likely to take place during the 15th SAARC Summit to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 2-3 August. | | |

Yes, Sandeep Chowta is still one of Ram Gopal Verma’s boys this is for everyone who wanted to know whether the duo has split. In fact, it is Sandeep who is composing the tunes for Verma’s next Bollywood film Phoonk, which also stars Kannada actor Sudeep in the lead role.
“Work on Phoonk is on full swing. It is a bit slow, only because Verma is a perfectionist,” confirms Sandeep.
