Recently he refused an offer for Yash Raj’s forthcoming film which stars Rani Mukherjee and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
Anurag Singh’s untitled film revolves around a local cricket team. Interestingly Rani who plays a cricketer in the film, dresses up like a man and sports a turban too. Apparently the role which was offered to Abhishek was a small cameo. According to our source at Yash Raj, he reveals that the real reason for his refusal is Abhishek is not keen to do a small role in any film especially after his recent debacle, Drona. Now when Abhishek has refused to be part of it, they are planning to rope in another big star for the same role.
