| | | Saroja tunes take centrestage | | | | Monday was a great day for Indian music as two of the country's most popular music directors shared stage, putting to rest theories about the two not willing to meet each other.
Both A R Rahman and Yuvan Shankar Raja looked more than pleased as they exchanged pleasantries on stage during the audio release function of Saroja, a movie directed by Venkat Prabhu of Chennai-6000028 fame.
Yuvan presented the first audio cd of the film to Rahman, who, after receiving it, said, "Yuvan's name brings a smile to my face. Over 20 years back, when I was working for Illayaraja, I heard a voice call me 'Uncle'.
I turned back to see who it was and it was Yuvan. He has now grown up to be a wonderful music director. I wish him, Venkat Prabhu and the whole team of Saroja all the best......... | | |
