Incidentally, the film also marks Farhan’s debut as a singer. “Being in front of the camera is as challenging as being behind it. Singing, however, I think is the toughest of them all,” says Farhan.
So is he prepared to handle all the female attention? “Oh, definitely. I’m already used to female attention all the time,” he laughs, adding, “All thanks to my mother, sister, wife and now daughters. I’ve always been the centre of their attention. Even my dogs are females.”
But didn’t he want a film made exclusively for him like most star sons in the industry do? “Does that guarantee a hit? I know I could have made my debut in a tailor-made film for myself, but that’s not the way I wanted. For me the script always rules,” he says matter-of-factly.
