| | | Dia goes solo | | | | Dia Mirza steps into Bipasha Basu’s shoes for Suparn Verma’s Acid Factory after Bips walked out citing date problems. The actress will be the solo female lead in the film that stars six men. Acid Factory goes on the floors tomorrow at the Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad.
New look
Says Suparn, “The idea was to reinvent Dia and give her a never-before look. Her dresses, her mannerisms and the way she is going to appear in the film is extremely novel. New Delhi-based designer duo Nikhil-Shantanu are styling her.”
On Dia replacing Bipasha, Suparn says, “Bipasha had major date conflicts and that’s why she couldn’t do Acid Factory. My dates were clashing with her new film, Freeze. I am shooting for a month in Hyderabad with six actors, we couldn’t wait.
She is a fine actress but this is the second time we couldn’t work together. I wanted her for my earlier project, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, too. I am sure we will work together in the future.” | | |
