| | | Replacing Katrina already? | | | | Salman Khan seems to have a thing for introducing co-stars who resemble his ex-girlfriends. Remember Sneha Ullal after his break-up with Aishwarya Rai? And now with the rumours of his relationship with Katrina Kaif being on shaky ground, the actor has chosen a Kat lookalike for his film Veer.
Salman's heroine (her name remains undisclosed because she wants it to be a Bolly-friendly name and is in consultation with a numerologist) is a Mumbai girl, who lives in Versova. The 5'11 girl bears a striking resemblance to Kat. A production guy from the unit, who has seen her, says, "I thought she was Katrina Kaif's sister but it turns out they are not related. The resemblance is uncanny." The makers wanted a girl with a fair skin, so she could pass off as a white girl. The story is based in the 1900 just at the peak of the British taking control over Indian provinces. Sallu's new leading lady is currently going through various classes for acting, diction, dancing etc to polish her image. | | |
