| | | Local time again for Naseer | | | | Travelling by local trains is a daily routine for lakhs of Mumbaikars and holds special memories for many.
And things weren’t too different for Naseeruddin Shah, who got nostalgic about his journey after he travelled in a local train after nearly 23 years. And the reason for the ride was to shoot a vital scene from Shah’s upcoming film, A Wednesday .
The last time the veteran actor had travelled in a local train was for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron ,way back in the mid ‘80s.
Nishikant Kamath, the director of the film says,“We had booked an entire compartment of a CST to Kalyan-bound train to shoot the sequence, which was to be shot with Naseerji. He was very excited while shooting as he was boarding a local train after 23 years.”
Nishikant Kamath’s directorial debut in Tamil was with Evano Oruvan ,a remake of his Marathi movie Dombivli Fast, starring Madhavan and Sangeetha.Interestingly, majority of the sequence, including the climax of Evano oruvan was shot completely in a Chennai local train. | | |
